KDU University College aims to be one of Malaysia's leading research universities. To achieve our goal, investment is made in acquiring a 20-acre campus in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, which includes new administrative buildings, a research centre and teaching and learning facilities.

As the leading research and intellectual resource arm of KDU University College, the creation of the Research Center is motivated by the University's interest to serve the general public through research and public advocacy of what is right and with the intention of contributing to the nation's socio-economic development agenda. It sees knowledge as both the 'means and the ends' to attain long-lasting, meaningful and peaceful development.

The Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research envisions itself to be as a catalyst for change, and a converging point for intellectual discussions on pressing socio-ecological, economic and technological issues.
