UNIVERSITY OF LONDON INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES, UK

The University of London International Programmes are the longest standing flexible and distance learning programmes in the world. Formerly known as the External System, these programmes have been available to students since 1858. KDU University College is an Affiliate Centre for the University of London International programmes. In order to be recognised as an Affiliate Centre, KDU University College has demonstrated a sustained commitment to developing high standards in respect of the teaching, support and administration.

OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY, UK

Oxford Brookes University has been in collaboration with KDU University College since 1996. KDU law students pursue two years of degree studies in Malaysia and one year at Oxford Brookes University which the Sunday Times University Guide has ranked it as UK’s leading modern university for nine years.

KEELE UNIVERSITY, UK

Keele University was the pioneer of the Dual Honours degree programmes. Having the broadest range of combined degrees in the U.K., the university also offers over 500 degree and postgraduate level programmes ranging from Medicine, Health, Social Care, Mathematics, Education, Law, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Business Management, Intermational Relations, Criminology, Biomedical Sciences and Forensic Science.

Keele University’s partnership with KDU University College is very new (since 2009). The degrees at KDU University College have the same curriculum as at Keele University. The modules are marked at KDU and the results are moderated by the Keele Management School. The staff from Keele Management School visit KDU twice a year to meet up with the staff and students ensuring quality delivery of the programmes.

Northumbria University reaches out globally , with programmes delivered not only in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, London but also in Malaysia. With more than 35,000 students at its campus, it ranks 5^th biggest in the U.K. in terms of student numbers. Northumbria University partners KDU University College since 2004 to offer undergraduate 3+0 programmes (Hons) in Communication & Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering and B.Sc (Hons) in Computing Studies.

The Univesity of New South Wales (UNSW) is renowned for the quality of its graduates and its commitment to new and creative approaches to education and research. The university has almost 100 research, teaching programmes and community centres. Recently, another research centre was established - the Lowy Centre for Cancer Research – the largest integrated cancer research institute in the Southern Hemisphere. UNSW has collaborated with KDU University College since 1997, providing a pathway for Pre-University students to pursue under graduate studies in Australia.

Murdoch University has been in partnership with KDU University College since 1996, commencing with the established 3+0 Bachelor of Commerce in Management & Marketing Management and the 3+0 Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting programmes. With the flexibility in programme choices (majors and minors), this partnership ensures the delivery of quality, using the same syllabus, with examinations moderated by Murdoch University, A unique feature is the Study@Murdoch programme where students pay KDU tuition fees for a semester experience at Perth, Australia.

KDU University College has collaborated with IMI University Centre, Switzerland to offer prestigious Swiss qualifications to its students without the need to study abroad since 1987. However, many still opt to spend a few semesters in Switzerland to gain international exposure.
